ในส่วนของโครงการการสร้างความรับผิดชอบทางสังคม บริษัทฟ้าใหม่โฮลดิ้งส์ได้สร้างกองทุนแห่งความหวังขึ้นมา โดยนำคำว่า “ความหวังใหม่” มาแปลได้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษใช้ว่า New Hope

สมาชิกของทีมเราทุกคนได้รับมอบหมายให้เข้าร่วมและใช้เวลากับโครงการการสร้างความผิดชอบต่อสังคมที่เราเรียกได้ว่าเป็นการกระทำโดยตรง และจากความสนับสนุนทางการการเงินของกองทุนแห่งความหวังใหม่ทำให้เราสามารถแจกจ่ายความช่วยเหลือแก่สังคมและชุมชนท้องถิ่นได้มากขึ้นไปอีก

เราเข้าใจว่าความต้องการของทุกคนนั้นแตกต่างกันและไม่ได้มีแค่วิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาวิธีเดียวที่จะสามารถช่วยเหลือทุกคนได้  กองทุนนี้ไม่ได้จำกัดชนิดหรือลักษณะการที่จะช่วยเหลือ เช่น การแจกจ่ายอาหาร, การสอนหนังสือ, การก่อสร้างสิ่งที่จำเป็น เป็นต้น     เราต้องการที่จะให้ความช่วยเหลือที่เป็นประโยชน์ที่สุดเท่าที่เราสามารถทำได้ด้วยกองทุนและเวลาที่เรามีอยู่ ดังนั้นพวกเราจะไปในที่ต่างๆนั้นเพื่อที่ทำในสิ่งเราทำได้ให้ออกมาดีที่สุดเพื่อการช่วยเหลือในหลายๆทาง
พวกเราได้เปิดกองทุนแห่งความหวังอย่างสาธารณะ และขอเชิญชวนทุกคนมาสมัครหรือแนะนำบุคคลหรือต้นเหตุที่คุณคิดว่าจะเป็นประโยชน์หากได้รับการช่วยเหลือที่ได้จากเรา

THE MERCY CENTRE BANGKOK

At present, FMH spends its time at the Mercy Centre (Klongtoey, Bangkok) mentoring children Monday-Friday, giving help with homework, teaching values and providing support to children that need it along with the odd fun day out.

Mercy Centre is a shelter for street kids, five orphanages, a hospice, a home for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS, a 400-pupil kindergarten, a community meeting place, and a serene haven in the slums with small gardens and playgrounds. Originally built on a former Buddhist Temple site on port authority property, Mercy Centre has stood in some shape or form for nearly 40 years. In 2000, it was rebuilt through a generous gift to accommodate our expanding services to orphans, street children, and children with HIV/AIDS.

AFTER THE WAVE FOUNDATION

After The Wave is a Thailand based non-profit foundation established by students, teachers and associates of the International School Bangkok after the 2004 tsunami. Originally setup to help with the immediate aftermath of the tsunami, After The Wave began at the R-35 school, located in the village of Bang Sak, in the province of Phang Na, about 100 km north of Phuket. The school was devastated by the wave. The buildings were destroyed, a number of children and parents died, and many more were left homeless.

ATW has since evolved to offer help to children and their families with the basic needs and expenses of education. Recent projects have helped students at the Mogen Community School at Koh Surin Island, as well as scholarship support for students relocating due to violence or instability.

Fah Mai Holdings Inc. Hope Fund has recently reached out to After The Wave Foundation and in support of the very important work they have been doing has pledged a monthly donation to their foundation and a commitment to help support some of their students with their study needs.
