FMH Distilleries

Fah Mai Holdings plans to ignite its expansion by establishing a framework of distilleries with a combination of construction and strategic acquisitions to cultivate a robust and dynamic portfolio of production facilities. Our first two sites are Cape Wrath, Scotland and Spirit of Siam – Thailand. Scotland will serve as the cornerstone of our production portfolio, providing tradition and heritage, and our world distilleries will be the powerhouse of our innovative disruption to the world of whisky brands. It is our goal to follow a corporate social responsibility plan that allows us to create local employment opportunities, and add value to the community in a manner that builds sustainability, and curates a nurturing spirit within and around our development. We understand the importance of building community, harnessing local talent, and developing these for the future of the community to which we will belong.

Startup Phase

During the initial 7 years of business, the distillery will derive its main source of income from selling spirit into the trading market and acting primarily as a bulk spirit trader, while the initial production is matured for our first release. We aim to pre-sell casks through our established network in trading and investment, further enhancing our ability to derive multiple income streams from Cape Wrath distillery.

Main Areas Of Focus

Creating employment, and career development opportunities for local residents is imperative to creating a lasting enterprise and flourishing community, adding real value to the local estate and communities. This creates positive sustainability impact, guided by ethical environmental policies and community engagement, which will further enhance the ecosystem of which we are a part.

Spirit Of Siam

Trademark

We have registered our Trademark for Spirit of Siam Distillery. This will give us a 12 month global trademark period in which to choose the individual regions we would like to be exclusive in. We will take guidance on the next steps after we have completed the branding and brand story for the Spirit Of Siam.

Construction

With the build site ready, we are now establishing temporary electricity for on-site operations, constructing an on site office building and laying the concrete production site platform on which to build the main facility. We will then compare contractor proposals to determine the best path forward for construction.

Environment

To mitigate potential environmental impact, branches and roots were transported to an alternative site for use as a landfill, rather than undergoing on-site incineration. In light of prevailing PM2.5 air quality concerns, open burning was deemed unsuitable due to its potential contribution to air pollution.
